The World Materials Forum is organised in partnership between the GrandNancy Urban Community and companies including ARKEMA, EcoEmballages, ItalCementi, McKinsey&Company, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, PSA Peugeot Citroën, RioTinto, Saint-Gobain, Solvay, Valspar, Veolia, and voestalpine. CEOs from large global companies, from SME’s and start-ups, high-level scientists including Nobel holder Prize Albert Fert, policy-makers will talk and debate with the audience around three themes:
- Materials availability;
- Materials life-cycle management;
- Substitute materials for competitiveness.
Each theme will be the subject of three workshops, each being chaired by the CEO of one of the partner companies and benefit from the contributions of industry experts and high-level scientists (including Nobel prize holder Albert Fert, who co-di working on the topics to be debated.
Participation will provide you a unique possibility to interact with CEOs and scientists. It may also be an occasion for you to discover the EIT Raw Materials, the largest ever EU programme on mineral raw materials related issues, with nearly 120 partners from industry, academia and research.
