The objectives of this report is to identify specific Critical Raw Materials (CRM) dependence of the ICT sector and through the analysis of specific application value chains to better understand the exposure of
European industry in terms of economic value and employment to a potential CRM supply risk.
This analysis of the ICT sector will be complemented by similar analysis for the energy and transportation sectors, with corresponding reports. These reports will participate to the background information required to later prioritize the applications for substitution roadmapping.
